Father's Day Cards

Father's Day is here!  This card was made using my Perfect Layers tools and the Key Lime collection by Bo Bunny.  I really love the colors on these papers!

Peacock Card

Here's  a card I created using my Perfect Layers tools and the Violet Leaf stack from DCWV.  I stamped the peacock in teal chalk ink and used markers to color in the white spaces with green and add purple accents.  I'm really pleased with how this one came out!

Mojo Monday 296

 So, I've discovered the Mojo Monday Blog!  Every Monday the folks at Mojo Monday issue a new sketch challenge.  This card is my first entry.  I used DCWV's Violet Leaf collection and stamps from Studio 112 and Recollections. I colored the dragonfly in with markers and highlighted it with a Gelly Roll Stardust pen. I really like how this one turned out!

Here's a birthday card crafted from Basic Grey's Shine On collection.  I'm really pleased with how this one turned out.  Can't wait to see my dad's face when he opens it. :)

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. :)  Here are a couple of Mom's Day cards I crafted for the occasion.  I used Basic Grey's Serendipity collection for these. 

Here are a couple of cards I've made in the past couple of weeks.  The birthday card was made with DCWV's Mango Frost collection, and the other card was made with the Spring Fling collection by Teresa Collins.  I'm pretty happy with how these turned out, especially the birthday card.  The flower was made by embossing the images on white paper, and then I used Faber Castell Gelato medium to color them in.  I'll be experimenting more with those in the future.  They're a pretty versatile medium.

Tagging Scraps

I had a bunch of scraps left after making cards for my husband and son.  So, I did what I always do when I've got leftover paper--make tags!  Below are a few of the several I made today.
